    Description

    The Automation Technician supports the company''s commitment to innovation by improving the performance, reliability, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and automated systems. This role is responsible for optimizing production processes, minimizing equipment downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that positively impact Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), labor efficiency, and quality. By working collaboratively across Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance, the Automation Technician helps enhance customer satisfaction and drive company profitability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.

    • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.

    • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation equipment.

    • Assist with programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots.

    • Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.

    • Work with Engineering to improve equipment performance and reliability.

    • Calibrate sensors, vision systems, and automated equipment as needed.

    • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

    • Follow all safety procedures and support a safe work environment.

    • Participate in continuous improvement projects that increase efficiency and reduce downtime

    On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, CO location.
