Job Description

We are seeking an Automation tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, test framework development, and CI/CD and a proven ability to deliver scalable automated testing, validate business requirements, and improve product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, load, usability, and integration testing.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Contribute to requirements analysis, design discussions, QA test plan development, defect reviews, results analysis, sprint reviews, and project planning.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities across releases and sprints.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases, test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report results with clear metrics.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements for coverage and traceability.
• Investigate defects and write concise, reproducible defect reports.
• Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues in collaboration with engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical degree or equivalent related work experience.
• Hands-on automation experience with Selenium using Java or similar tools.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks in Java, Perl, or comparable languages.
• Proficiency in load, integration, security, and server-side testing.
• Automation for web and mobile applications using Appium, Xcode, or similar tools.
• Relational database skills with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle, including SQL for validation.
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Agile development practices and collaboration in Scrum teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Designing test strategies for complex distributed systems.
• Experience with performance testing tools and monitoring solutions.
