As an Automotive Body Technician at McCluskey Chevrolet you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various auto body issues, restoring vehicles to their optimal condition.
JOB TITLE: Automotive Body Technician
REPORTS TO: Body Shop Manager
LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH
A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Properly read and supplement repair estimates
- Restore structural dimensions and integrity to the collision damaged vehicles
- Use measuring and frame equipment to diagnose damage and return damaged frame or unibody parts to manufacturer’s specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts, weld as needed, and properly install new parts
- Work with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical and mechanical parts
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts for repairs
- Research repair information as needed
WE’RE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of experience as a collision /body technician
- I-CAR and aluminum certification preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
