Automotive Dealership Preowned Manager

The Preowned Manager is responsible for optimizing sales and profitability while overseeing and managing the operations of our preowned vehicle department. The Preowned Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales, achieving targets and ensuring an exceptional guest experience by providing leadership and effective business practices. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in automotive sales and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales of preowned vehicles.
• Manage inventory levels and pricing to maximize profitability.
• Hire, train and develop a team of automotive sales consultants.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Direct and schedule the activities of department employees and monitor performance to ensure individual and department goals are achieved.
• Maintain appropriate levels of customer service and client retention by resolving customer complaints or concerns immediately and appropriately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Preowned Manager
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record

Pay: $161,000 to $254,400 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including salary, commissions, bonuses, benefits (vacation and sick), etc.  Employees in this position will be paid a base salary of $72,000 per year.  Commissions are expected to range from $88,800 to $182,400 per year based on performance.
