Full-Time Automotive Detailer

Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Perry is looking for a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Automotive Detailer to join our team. Automotive detailing experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Our detail department plays an important role in making sure every vehicle we sell is clean, presentable, and ready to exceed our customers' expectations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can maintain a steady pace, and works well as part of a team.

Compensation

$15.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete interior and exterior detailing of new and pre-owned vehicles

• Wash, dry, vacuum, and thoroughly clean vehicles

• Clean carpets, upholstery, windows, dashboards, consoles, and other interior surfaces

• Apply waxes, protectants, dressings, and other detailing products

• Remove stains, odors, dirt, debris, and other imperfections from vehicles

• Prepare vehicles for the sales lot and customer delivery

• Perform final inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards

• Maintain a clean and organized detail area

• Properly use and care for detailing equipment, chemicals, and supplies

• Work efficiently to complete vehicles within expected time frames

• Communicate with managers and other departments regarding vehicle status

• Assist with other vehicle preparation or lot-related duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred

• Strong attention to detail

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality

• Willingness to learn and take direction

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual vehicle controls as needed

• Ability to perform physical work including standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and working inside and around vehicles throughout the day
