All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Commercial Truck Painter for an immediate opening at a commercial vehicle and truck repair company in Tukwila, WA, near Boeing and the Museum of Flight. This role focuses on preparing, painting, repairing, and refinishing commercial trucks and vehicle components. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in commercial truck painting, heavy equipment painting, fleet vehicle painting, or similar industrial painting environments. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

What is the pay? $30 - $40+ per hour, depending on experience.
What schedule does this role have? Monday – Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
What does the Commercial Truck Painter do? You'll prepare, paint, refinish, and detail commercial trucks and truck components using professional paint systems and spray equipment. This role includes surface preparation, masking, paint application, touch-ups, and finishing work to ensure high-quality results.
$30 - $40+ per hour

Conveniently located near Southcenter Mall and a variety of nearby dining options

7:00am - 3:30pm

Prepare commercial trucks and truck components for painting and refinishing
Sand, clean, and prepare surfaces for paint application
Apply masking materials and protective coverings according to specifications
Mix and match paint materials and coatings
Operate spray equipment safely and efficiently
Apply primer, paint, and finish coats to commercial trucks and equipment
Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups as needed
Buff, detail, and finish completed paint work to ensure high-quality results
Maintain paint equipment, materials, and organized work areas
Follow shop safety procedures and environmental guidelines
Minimum 5 years of commercial truck, heavy equipment, or automotive painting experience required
Experience with commercial spray equipment and professional paint systems
Strong masking, sanding, surface preparation, and finishing skills
Ability to read and follow paint and repair specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to maintain regular attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
