Your Starting Role: Sales Porter

As a Sales Porter, you’ll play an important role in keeping our sales department operating efficiently while learning the day-to-day operations of dealership service and customer care.

This role is designed for someone looking to grow into a future Sales Consultant position.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include:

• Vehicle and Inventory Management
• Inventory Organization: Arrange vehicles on the sales lot according to management layout plans and ensure clear driving lanes.
• Vehicle Transport: Drive cars between the storage lot, showroom, make-ready department, and service areas.
• Maintenance Checks: Jump-start dead batteries, fill low gas tanks, check tire pressure, and periodically move parked cars to prevent flat spots on tires.
• Tagging and Documentation: Place stock tags, buyer guides, and key tags in and on vehicles.
• Lot Cleanliness: Sweep walkways, clear debris, and maintain a neat exterior appearance around the dealership building.
• Display Preparation: Position the front-line inventory to maximize visual appeal and attract prospective buyers.
• Damage and Missing Parts Inspection: Scan inventory for lot damage or missing equipment and report issues to managers.
• Test Drive and Delivery Prep: Clean, fuel, and pull up vehicles for customer test drives or final vehicle deliveries.
• Errand Running: Transport paperwork, dealer trades, or specific parts between different locations as instructed by the sales staff.
• Showroom Maintenance: Restock showroom supplies, such as customer refreshment stations, as needed throughout the day
