Automotive Sales Manager

Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 annually, based on experience

Fred Beans Toyota is looking for a motivated, hands-on, people-focused Sales Manager who leads from the front and understands that our greatest asset is our people.

We're not looking for someone who sits behind a desk waiting for the next deal. We're looking for someone who makes things happen.

This position is less about working deals and more about developing the people who make the deals happen.

What You'll Do

• Lead from the Front: Be actively involved on the showroom floor, setting the example for energy, accountability, professionalism, and productivity.
• Develop Our Salespeople: Focus on growing each sales consultant's individual book of business through coaching, mentorship, and consistent engagement.
• Create Opportunities: Proactively identify new business opportunities rather than waiting for customers to walk through the door.
• Drive Prospecting & Follow-Up: Oversee unsold customer follow-up, sold customer follow-up, referrals, lease maturity opportunities, and ongoing customer engagement.
• Manage Customer Portfolios: Help salespeople build, maintain, and capitalize on their existing customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
• Conduct Daily One-on-Ones: Work individually with sales consultants to review activity, identify opportunities, establish goals, and remove obstacles.
• Train & Develop Talent: Provide consistent training on prospecting, customer communication, product knowledge, appointment setting, and sales fundamentals.
• Create Accountability: Establish clear expectations, monitor daily activity, and ensure consistent execution of the processes that drive results.
• Grow Individual Performance: Take personal responsibility for helping every salesperson become more productive, confident, and successful.
