Rod's Tire & Automotive Repair is an established independent shop serving approximately 300 vehicles per month. We're looking for a confident, motivated Service Advisor who knows how to connect with customers, communicate the value of needed repairs, close sales, and keep a busy shop moving.

What You'll Do

This is a sales-focused customer service position with ownership of the repair process from beginning to end.

• Build relationships and earn customer trust
• Present technician findings and explain repair recommendations clearly
• Help customers understand the value and urgency of recommended repairs
• Confidently ask for the sale and professionally handle objections
• Help customers prioritize repairs based on their needs and budget
• Follow up consistently on declined work and unsold estimates
• Keep customers informed with proactive repair updates
• Maintain accurate repair orders, customer notes, and communication records
• Work closely with technicians and parts management to keep jobs moving
• Take ownership of sales goals, gross profit, close rate, and customer satisfaction

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys sales, takes pride in their performance, and understands that customer trust is what drives long-term success.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Proven success in automotive service advising or consultative sales
• Confidence presenting estimates and discussing pricing
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills
• Excellent communication and follow-through
• The ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
• A sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy or service
• Strong organizational and documentation habits
• Personal accountability and a desire to improve

Automotive service advisor experience is preferred, but proven sales professionals from other industries are encouraged to apply.

We can teach automotive systems and terminology. You bring the initiative, sales ability, and commitment to your results.
