Automotive Service Technician

Metro Kia of Madison is a growing automotive repair facility committed to delivering high-quality service and exceptional customer care. We work on a wide range of domestic and import vehicles and pride ourselves on our integrity, teamwork, and professionalism. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while delivering top-tier workmanship and customer satisfaction. 

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on vehicles

• Inspect vehicle systems including brakes, steering, suspension, exhaust, and engine components

• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues accurately

• Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly with service advisors

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Follow safety procedures and company standards

• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be wiling to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and background check
