Job Summary
Wilde Auto Plus is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. We've been serving Burleson County since 1938.  We are looking for a positive and upbeat person to help us serve our customers and complete our team.  In this role, you will perform a full vehicle inspection, diagnostic testing, and replacement of worn, broken, and damaged components for all automotive and light trucks.  This includes, but not limited to: brakes, engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, wheel alignments, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities: 
  • Diagnose vehicles using State-of-the-art equipment
  • Provide accurate repair recommendations 
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player while working closely with the Service Advisor and other technicians.  
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, explaining repairs and offering recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • As for Wheel Alignments, we will train you if needed
  • Support the company vision and mission
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Color vision and good hearing
  • Must have at minimum a basic tool set
  • Dexterity -- able to work with hands to manipulate tools and components
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret manuals, diagnostic charts and schematics
  • Able to use computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to quickly learn new things
  • Willingness to be part of a team and capable of working with others
  • Bilingual -- Spanish Speaking is a bonus!
Experience:
  • 3+ years
Pay:
  • $20 - $40 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
Compensation: $40.00 per hour
