We’re seeking a motivated Automotive Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles in our dealership service department. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and values teams dynamics.
What You’ll Do
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and any other concerns using electronic diagnostic tools.
- Repair vehicle systems including but not limited to engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Test drive vehicles and verify repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Communicate repair findings and additional service needs clearly with service advisors.
- Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Stay current on new vehicle technology and repair procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work well in a team‑oriented, customer‑focused environment
- Familiarity using basic computer skills and repair software
Preferred
- 1 or more years of professional automotive technician experience
- ASE certifications or willing to obtain
- A‑level experience including diagnostics, electrical systems, or engine repair
- Familiarity with modern vehicle technology and dealership service operations
- Strong customer communicate and service skills
Pay & Benefits
Compensation
- $25.00-$38.00 per flat rate hour
- This position is paid on a flat-rate basis. Individual hourly rates are set based on experience, technical ability, and qualifications.
