Performs preventative maintenance services in conformance to manufacturer specificationsDiagnoses, repairs, and order parts for light-duty vehicle and equipment systemsResponds to roadside callsConducts road and static test to verify repairsTakes and picks up vehicles from outside vendors for repairs and servicesMaintains a clean and orderly shopFollows the city policies, procedures and safety guidelinesPerforms other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalentCombination of education and experience equivalent to four (4) years as an Automotive Maintenance TechnicianFurnishes own hand tools

Certificates and License Requirements

Valid driver's licenseEPA Section 609 Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employmentASE Certifications A4 and A5 ORTwo (2) additional years of experience as an Automotive Maintenance Technician
