We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about Automotive Service Technology for am on-site, part-time Workforce Instructor position. Workforce faculty are expected to be experts in the field and excel in facilitating classroom instruction.
This position is a part-time evening shift position, working from the Mercer County Vo-Tech Center and will report directly to the Dean, Technical, Workforce and Community Education.
Job Summary
Workforce Instructors serve multiple roles as teachers, mentors, colleagues, and scholars. Workforce faculty are expected to excel in classroom instruction and to fulfill various responsibilities related to their assigned teaching duties.
Nature of Work
Workforce faculty is responsible for teaching an area of expertise within a specific period.

Performs other functions as required or assigned. Also complies with all Policies and Standards.

Education
Associate's degree OR Industry Equivalent Certificate from a Technical College- Automotive Service Technology- Required
Experience
In addition to the knowledge/education, the following related work experience is typically required for this position. An equivalent combination of education and recent, related experience may be acceptable.
Five years of full-time employment experience directly related to automotive technology.
Experience Details- Demonstrated proficiency or ASE certifications in electrical/electronics, steering & suspension, brakes, engines, and HVAC- Required.
