Aviation Mechanic

Position: Aviation Mechanic

Remas Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Aviation Mechanic to join our client on a full-time basis. As an Aviation Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of aircraft to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft, including but not limited to engines, landing gear, electrical systems, and avionics

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on aircraft

- Repair or replace faulty components and systems

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards

- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

- Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

- Stay up to date with new technologies and industry advancements in aviation maintenance

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Aviation Mechanic

- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Proficient in using various hand and power tools

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
