Job Description

As an Aviation Mechanic, you will work on aircraft from nose to tail, gaining unique expertise. This specific role focuses on maintaining and servicing Turboprop aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive maintenance on aircraft in accordance with company policy, manufacturers recommendations, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair airframe and powerplant components and systems.
• Document completed work per company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Tow aircraft and perform minor maintenance on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) as needed.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Valid FAA Aircraft Mechanic certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Eligibility to work in the US.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Capability to interpret policy, repair, and safety manuals.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to gain airport access badge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 months of experience on any aircraft.
• Experience with Beechcraft 99, Beechcraft 1900, Embraer 120, or similar aircraft is advantageous.
• Aviation schooling
• Previous experience with GE T700/CT7, PT6A, PW118, and TPE331 series powerplants preferred.
• Experience within a fast-paced, scheduled maintenance operation.

Work in a hangar located at DFW Airport, experiencing both indoor and outdoor conditions at a Part 135 station.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grapevine, TX.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
