AVP Marketing

POSITION PURPOSEResponsible for coordinating and executing marketing and business relations functions and for the implementation, development, and maintenance of Credit Union marketing plan goals and objectives to promote Universal 1's brand, products, and services Participates in the inception and development of new services and products based on perceived member needs. Ensures that marketing projects are well coordinated and complement the strategic objectives of the Credit Union. Develop campaigns and content using data, policies procedures, and training programs to ensure efficient and effective marketing operations. Research marketing needs and analyzes marketing trends for the Credit Union. Supervises and appraises the activities of subordinate personnel and ensures that all promotional activities are performed professionally. QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experiencePossession of a valid driver's licenseExperience Required: Minimum of five (5) years of marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in a financial environmentMinimum of two (2) years of supervisory or senior leadership experienceExperience with advertising, website edits and analyticsExperience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Web/Mobile/Social Media Content Creation and ManagementKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong organizational skills and detail orientedExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsDemonstrated writing skillsProficient with Microsoft Office programs and ability to operate computer applicationsAble to use graphic arts tools and suppliesAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentAbility to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
