AWS DevOps Engineer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer for their Irving, TX/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

• · CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD. [1, 2] · Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage cloud infrastructure declaratively using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible. [1, 2] · AWS Cloud Administration: Configure and manage core AWS services such as Amazon EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and Route53. [1, 2] · Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS). [1, 2] · Monitoring & Security: Track system performance and logs using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudTrail, while enforcing security and compliance best practices. [1, 2] · Troubleshooting & On-Call: Diagnose production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain high system availability (SLAs)

Requirements:

• Cloud Platform: Deep proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC). · Scripting & Programming: Python, Bash, Ruby, or Go.
• IaC & Configuration: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Containers: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS native tools.
• Networking & Linux: Solid foundation in Linux/Unix administration, DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls
• Years of experience required: 10+
