Technology Architect AWS Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Technology Architect / AWS Platform Engineer with strong experience in AWS, DevOps, Python, AI, and Kafka. The candidate will be responsible for building and managing cloud platforms, automating infrastructure, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and developing scalable event-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop Python-based automation, tools, and cloud integrations.
• Design and manage Kafka-based streaming and event-driven solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI.
• Implement Docker and Kubernetes solutions.
• Monitor production environments and troubleshoot incidents.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, reliability, security, and cost.
• Work with AWS services such as SNS, SQS, EventBridge, and other cloud services.
• Support batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Ensure cloud platform security, governance, and compliance.
• Write unit and integration tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance when required.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related technologies.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong Python development and automation experience.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, cloud security, and CI/CD.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues independently.
• Good communication and technical leadership skills.
