The Customer & Commercial Success (CCS) organization, an organization within MCAPS-Core, is the connected engine that turns Microsoft's commercial strategy into execution at scale - making it simpler and faster for the field to win for every customer, in every segment, region, and role. The organization brings together planning, landing, execution excellence, services portfolio and delivery, and field activation across Account Team Unit (ATU), Solution Team Unit (STU), and Customer Success Unit (CSU) to accelerate customer value, drive growth, and strengthen the end-to-end experience across every customer moment.

We are seeking an Azure Capacity Program Manager to drive worldwide Non-AI Capacity Escalations and Unifed Action Tracker (UAT) execution for Americas Datacenter (DC) Regions. This role operates at the intersection of MCAPS, Engineering, and Regional Owners, transforming high-priority customer demand signals into actionable escalation outcomes that protect revenue, optimize allocation, and enable growth at scale. The role is accountable for managing end-to-end UAT intake, triage, and execution; operationalizing and continuously improving worldwide escalation processes; and enabling clear decision-making through high-quality data and insights.

Candidates who live within 50 miles of Microsofts Redmond campus will be required to work in the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Escalation & UAT Management

  • Partner with the WW Non-AI Capacity Escalations Lead to manage end-to-end UAT intake, triage, and execution to unblock high-priority customer demand.
  • Support global coordination across MCAPS, Engineering, and Regional Owners to assess request viability, drive prioritization, and advance approvals in constrained regions.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Ensure high-quality UAT data and hygiene, enforcing completeness and consistency to enable efficient triage and decision-making.

Process & Program Management Excellence

  • Help operationalize and continuously improve worldwide escalation processes, including scrums, prioritization, SLAs, and reporting frameworks.

Automation & Optimization

  • Drive process and tooling enhancements (e.g., automation, reporting, workflow simplification) to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround times.

Insights & Reporting

  • Generate insights on escalation trends, risks, and outcomes to inform leadership decisions on capacity allocation and process optimization.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing intake, triage, and execution across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with data hygiene, reporting, and storytelling.
  • Experience influencing Engineering, Field, and Regional organizations.
  • Background in capacity planning and escalation management, operational programs.
  • Familiarity with systems and applications associated with capacity/quota workflows.

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
