Location: Lorton, VA

Overview
Onsite Azure cloud engineer role in Lorton, VA on a cleared program. The job is building and running secure Azure enclaves, automating deployments through Azure DevOps and infrastructure as code, and supporting the Windows identity services underneath.
What You Will Do

Design, build and manage secure enclave environments in Microsoft Azure.
Write and maintain IaC using ARM templates, Terraform or Bicep.
Stand up Azure Virtual Machines, Key Vaults and other core services through Azure DevOps pipelines.
Automate AVD image builds and rotation.
Keep enclave systems stable, fast and secure.
Build and run Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Administer Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Certificate Services and Group Policy, covering account provisioning, certificates, policy enforcement and domain issues.
Review, clean up and debug new and existing IaC.
Control IAM policy so access across enclave systems stays least-privilege.
Help customers get software onto baseline desktops, automating first with DSC or Packer.
Monitor Azure infrastructure, fix performance problems and right-size resources.
Serve as an escalation point for difficult Azure issues.
Work with other teams to build and improve cloud solutions.
Document configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.

What You Bring

5+ years of cloud administration and development, mostly in Microsoft Azure
Deep knowledge of Azure services, Azure Virtual Desktop included
Hands-on IaC with Terraform, Azure DevOps, ARM templates or Bicep
A strong record automating Azure resource deployment through code
PowerShell plus other scripting languages, and solid YAML, JSON and Bicep
Secure enclave experience and familiarity with security compliance frameworks
Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

AZ-104, AZ-305 or comparable Azure certification

Additional Requirements

Onsite in Lorton, VA; local or willing to relocate
Able to travel up to 10%
Active TS/SCI or higher
U.S. citizenship (government contract requirement)
