The Morehouse College Division of Business and Economics (BE) seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance, to commence the Fall of 2026. This position will support undergraduate teaching and research in the finance concentration and contribute to service that supports the divisional mission of developing purpose-driven business leaders. We especially encourage applications from advanced assistant professors and from candidates who have an interest in future academic leadership roles within the Division. While all finance areas will be considered, those with a background in one of the following areas, are encouraged to apply: investments, asset management, real estate finance.

Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education/Experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A research-based Ph.D. degree in Finance from a full-time, AACSB-accredited institution. Degree must be conferred by start of Fall 2026. Candidates from

institutions without AACSB accreditation will not be considered.

Successful candidates should have an active research portfolio, be prepared to actively engage in service to the division and College, and also be willing and able to engage with a diverse student population.

This position may include teaching across areas such as investments, valuation and modeling, corporate finance, and/or upper-level finance electives. A secondary area of teaching in real estate is preferred.
