OVERVIEW:
- This is more than a typical software development role. The team is building a groundbreaking platform that will enable us to become a leader within the Intelligence Community for platform-enabled TSCM model integration and execution. They're looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, influencing architecture, and creating capabilities that have never been built before. If you're someone who likes to innovate instead of simply maintaining legacy applications, this is an opportunity to help define the future of mission-critical software
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead the development of secure, scalable back-end applications and services
- Design and build RESTful APIs and system integrations
- Develop and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases
- Build cloud-native, containerized applications for classified environments
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Collaborate with engineers to design scalable architectures using modern development practices and microservices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (education substitutions may be considered)
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 8 years focused on back-end development
- Strong experience with one or more of the following: Python | Java | C# | Ruby | Node.js
- Experience designing and developing REST or GraphQL APIs
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and server-side frameworks such as Django, Spring, or .NET
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and secure application development practices
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with any of the following is a plus
- Microservices architecture
- Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Redis or Memcached
- Terraform or Ansible
- Serverless computing
- High-performance computing
- Classified systems
- Signal processing or data analytics
