Chick-fil-A Uptown is looking for a Back of House (Kitchen) Leader who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces Chick-fil-A's culture, and leads with a servant's heart. Back of House Leaders are operationally excellent, calm under pressure, and passionate about food quality, safety, and developing others. This role supports the Kitchen Director and Food Safety Director and reports to the Kitchen Director. by executing daily kitchen operations, coaching team members, and ensuring consistency in speed, accuracy, and food safety standards. Back of House Team Leaders lead by example and set the pace and tone for a high-performing kitchen.

Position Type:

• Full Time

Pay Rate:

• Up to $21.00/hr (based on experience and availability)

Schedule:

• 9-hour shift
• Must have Saturday availability
• Available to work nights and weekends
• Must be able to work at least 35 to 40 +hours per week

Back Of House Leader Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Ensure food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Lead and coach team members during shifts
• Assist with training new hires
• Maintain speed of service while upholding accuracy
• Open and/or close the kitchen/act as key holder when scheduled
• Monitor prep levels, waste, and product handling
• Communicate clearly with Front of House leadership and senior leaders
• Hold team members accountable with professionalism and care
• Must be willing to be on call when needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lead, coach, and correct in real time
• Strong commitment to food safety and operational excellence
• Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to work up to 40 + hours per week
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Must be able to work afternoons and evenings (3:30 - 11:30pm)
