The Building People, LLC seeks a Back Shop Lead to manage the fabrication and machine shop supporting facility and laboratory maintenance for the AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate (RX).
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily Back Shop operations, including tool control, equipment maintenance, and technician scheduling.
Coordinate fabrication, machining, and repair work across skilled trades supporting RX facility and laboratory needs.
Maintain accountability for shop tools, equipment, and materials.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience managing a Facilities Back Shop environment in a DoD facility.
At least 5 years of Machine Shop experience.
Certifications & Screening Ability to obtain a favorable NACI or Tier 1 background investigation and CAC.
