Backend Software Engineer - Global E-commerce, Supply Chain and Logistics

Global E-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

Our Supply Chain & Logistics team is a key pillar of the Global E-commerce business, responsible for the selection of goods, procurement, warehousing, inventory management and other business modules. It aims to improve customer experience with warehousing, supply chain & logistics technology, empowering merchants to simplify and expand their business worldwide with dependable and trustworthy fulfillment capabilities, so as to to make affordable and high-quality products more accessible, contributing to an improved quality of life for consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop efficient, highly scalable and secured services to build/integrate Supply Chain & Logistics system for domestic and global TikTok Shop E-commerce.
• Optimize backend systems and services for data security, modularity, computational efficiency and scalability.
• Deliver best-in-class engineering excellence practices across all product engineering disciplines. Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 1 year experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Go/Python/C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery Technology, and/or Warehousing.
• Experience in E-commerce and retail related fields.
• Experience in full stack development is a plus.
