Badging and Credentialing Clerk I

This is an entry level in computer operations position. Badging clerk will have knowledge in specific parking and credentialing operations and is and must be able to communicate with customers in person, phone, email and fax. Under general direction of the project manager badging clerk will perform a variety of tasks which will include; Quality control of data and reports, office operations, and organizing, maintain, processing and distributing forms. Ensures timely issuance of proper credentials for authorized personnel. Must be capable and able to use pass and ID computer systems (SAFE). Must possess the capabilities required to support an efficient Pass and ID operation, ensuring timely issuance of proper documentation for authorized personnel.

Essential Functions

• Greet all visitors in a professional and businesslike manner, ensuring that each visitor possesses a valid identification badge or visitor badge.
• Reports situations and intervenes when possible to safeguard persons or property.
• Must be able to operate various types of office equipment such as facsimile machines, copiers, personal computers with peripheral equipment, programmable telephones, scanners and shredders.
• May be asked to answer all incoming telephone calls in a businesslike manner and identify him/herself as representing a contractor.
• Creates parking passes and monitors parking lot for proper parking permits. Processes HSPD12 credentials for all SSA staff.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School diploma,
• Must obtain and maintain SSA suitability clearance
• Current Government clearance desired
• 1 - 2 years customer service experience required.
• Ability to provide backup support during weekday shifts to fill in for vacations and absences.

Hourly rate $24.40

Shift: Monday-Friday 6AM-3PM
