Bagger - Joe Patti’s Seafood

Core Duties

• Bag customers’ seafood orders
  • Pack items securely (often with ice to keep seafood fresh)
• Assist customers
• Do cooler pickups anytime you see a customer with one or hear a call for one
• Carry orders to vehicles (especially large or heavy purchases, and ESPECIALLY ELDERLY).
• Maintain workflow
  • Keep bagging stations stocked with bags, ice, and supplies
  • Assists with running/passing orders to and from Steam window when necessary

Stocking / Support Tasks

• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays
• Help unload deliveries or transport boxes (can be heavy)

Cleanliness & Organization

• Keep work areas clean and sanitary (important in seafood handling)
• Dispose of trash, boxes, and waste properly
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Physical Requirements

• Standing for long periods
• Lifting (often up to ~50 + lbs., based on similar roles)
• Working in cold/wet environments (ice, dry ice + seafood handling)

Work Environment

• High customer volume (it’s a well-known seafood destination)
• Team-oriented—you’ll work closely with cashiers, fish cutters, and other staff

• Are okay working around seafood, cold temps, and crowds
