Job Summary: As the Bakery Assistant Manager, youll be an integral part of our grocery stores bakery leadership team. Collaborate with the Bakery Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure top-notch product quality, and lead a dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to merge your love for baking with management responsibilities, contributing to the overall success and innovation of our bakery offerings.

Examples of Duties:

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing daily bakery operations, including production, staffing, and customer service.
• Supervise and provide guidance to bakery staff, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to achieve department goals, such as sales targets and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe bakery space.
• Collaborate with vendors to source quality ingredients and bakery products.
• Support the analysis of sales data and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and coordinating with the overall store inventory systems.

• Solid understanding of bakery operations, production processes, and ingredient quality.
• Familiarity with industry trends and innovations in baked goods.
