Bakery Clerk

A Day in the Life:

The Bakery Clerk plays a key role in the day to day bakery operations. This position involves preparing dough, glazing pastries, and assisting with baking tasks from start to finish. Working alongside the Bakery Sales Manager, the Baker's Helper helps plan the day's production, gathers ingredients, and follows recipes with accuracy and attention to detail.

Tasks may include applying icing to baked goods, monitoring oven temperatures, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The role also includes providing courteous, helpful service to customers, offering product information, answering questions, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The ideal candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in consistent results, and appreciate the craft of baking. A strong sense of teamwork, reliability, and a focus on customer experience are essential.

As a Deli Clerk, your day is centered around preparing fresh food and creating a welcoming experience for customers. You're often the first stop for something ready to enjoy, helping customers choose from deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and prepared items while keeping service friendly and efficient. From slicing meats to preparing grab‑and‑go options, your work helps keep customers coming back.

Another slice of the role is keeping the department stocked, clean, and ready throughout the day. You'll prepare hot and cold items, maintain organized displays, and monitor product freshness and temperature. Between restocking, taking orders, and working with equipment, the day stays active, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys staying busy in a fast‑paced environment.
