As the organization continues to expand its operations team, they are seeking a Banking Operations Specialist to support trust and investment-related transactions, account activity, and operational processes within the banking division.

Position Overview

The Banking Operations Specialist will play a critical role in supporting daily banking and trust operations, ensuring the timely processing of transactions, account activities, and investment-related settlements. This position works closely with internal departments, investment managers, custodians, and banking partners to maintain accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity for banking professionals with experience in operations, trust administration, treasury services, securities processing, loan operations, or financial services who are looking to grow their career within a specialized banking environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and monitor banking and trust-related transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Coordinate daily communications with investment managers, custodians, brokerage firms, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the settlement of securities transactions and investment activity.
• Research and resolve transaction discrepancies, account exceptions, and reconciliation issues.
• Review and maintain account documentation and operational records.
• Monitor account activity, maturities, deadlines, and other time-sensitive operational tasks.
• Assist with reporting, recordkeeping, and data entry within banking and trust systems.
• Research and process corporate actions, class action settlements, and other operational events when applicable.
• Provide exceptional service to clients and business partners through professional and timely communication.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of banking, financial services, trust operations, treasury management, securities processing, loan operations, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of banking transactions and operational procedures.
• Experience working with financial accounts, reconciliations, settlements, wires, ACH, investments, or trust accounts is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and banking software platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Trust operations or trust administration experience.
• Securities settlement or investment operations experience.
• Financial services back-office operations.
• Brokerage, wealth management, or custodial banking experience.
• Accounting, reconciliation, or transaction processing experience.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
