CTG is seeking to fill a Banking Services Operations Associate IV opening for our client. This opportunity is ideal for banking operations professionals with experience supporting commercial lending documentation, loan closing preparation, and due diligence review in a fast-paced financial services environment.

 

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review commercial loan closing documentation packages in accordance with Credit Policy and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze credit approvals and documentation requests to determine due diligence and legal documentation needs
  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers, lending teams, legal counsel, and operations staff to resolve documentation issues and ensure timely package completion
  • Order, review, and maintain supporting due diligence documentation for commercial lending transactions
  • Support commercial, business banking, and private banking operations through accurate and timely document preparation
  • Maintain electronic records and documentation files in accordance with internal control standards
  • Identify and escalate risk, compliance, or documentation concerns as needed
  • Ensure adherence to banking regulations, company policies, and audit requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant work experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in banking operations, commercial lending, loan documentation, legal documentation, or financial services
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of relevant banking or commercial lending operations experience
  • Paralegal or legal documentation experience
  • Familiarity with commercial loan closing processes and Credit Policy requirements

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
