Description

We are partnering with a highly regarded Boston law firm seeking a Bankruptcy Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join its expanding Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who is looking to work directly with an experienced partner, assume meaningful responsibility, and continue developing a sophisticated bankruptcy practice.

Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of complex matters, the firm is looking for a collaborative, motivated associate who is ready to make an immediate impact while building a long-term career in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bankruptcy Associate, you will play an integral role in representing clients through a wide range of bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Conducting legal research and analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Managing case files, litigation deadlines, and court filings.
  • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, trustees, and court personnel.
  • Assisting with case strategy, negotiations, and day-to-day matter management.
  • Collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice groups to provide comprehensive client service.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3–5 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or insolvency law.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced practice.
