This is a hands‑on role supporting attorneys in a fast-moving practice where precision, organization, and follow-through matter.What You'll Be DoingPrepare and file proofs of claim and support bankruptcy filingsMonitor bankruptcy dockets and track case activityDraft pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence for attorney reviewAssist with loan documents, promissory notes, and security agreementsHandle UCC searches and filings and manage lien documentationSupport trustee sale processes (Notices of Default, Sale, Deeds of Trust, etc.)Prepare and manage post-judgment collections (garnishments, levies, etc.)Conduct legal research, lien searches, and public record reviewsCommunicate with clients to provide status updates and case progressMaintain organized and accurate client files and documentationWhat You Bring3–5+ years of experience in bankruptcy and/or creditors' rightsBachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferredStrong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and court filingsExperience with UCC filings, collections, and bankruptcy processesProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal/litigation softwareHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while staying aligned with a teamWhy This Role Stands OutDirect exposure to meaningful legal work—not just administrative tasksOpportunity to partner closely with experienced attorneysA role where your ability to own processes and stay organized truly mattersStable, professional office environment with consistent hoursThis is a great opportunity for a paralegal who knows this space and wants to be valued for it.
