Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>

• Arrive on time when contacted for weekend event assignments, ready for service.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Assist in setting up banquet or catering event rooms, including arranging tables and chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, decor, and buffet or station setups as required.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Serve food and beverages (plated, buffet, or stations) to guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Circulate with trays of appetizers or drinks when required.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Maintain awareness of guest needs: refill water, clear plates, address requests, and accommodate special dietary needs.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and service team to ensure smooth event execution.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Assist with breakdown after service: clearing tables, stacking chairs/tables, removing linens, bussing dishes, cleaning service areas, and returning equipment.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Adhere to hygiene and safety guidelines.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Wear <\/span><\/span>all black clothing<\/span><\/span><\/b> (black shirt, black pants, closed -toe shoes) for every shift.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Please communicate your availability in advance and be reachable when on call for weekend shifts.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications & Skills:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
  <\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Prior experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, or event service is a plus.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and stand for extended periods.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Physical stamina to lift/move up to 25 -50 lbs and set up/break down event spaces.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Reliable transportation to/from the job site in the Houston area.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Food handler certification preferred but not required.<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Professional appearance and ability to follow dress/uniform standards.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>
