Bar Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and service-focused hospitality professional to oversee daily bar operations and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will support a welcoming, efficient, and high-performing environment while working closely with the wider team to ensure smooth service, strong standards, and memorable experiences for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day bar operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Lead, support, and motivate team members while also being an active bartender.
• Monitor service quality, presentation, and cleanliness standards throughout the bar area.
• Assist with scheduling, shift coordination, and delegation of duties as needed.
• Provide guidance on product knowledge, service standards, and guest engagement.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
• Support inventory control, stock management, and ordering processes.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Train new team members and support ongoing development for existing staff.
• Work collaboratively with management and other departments to support overall business goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bar service
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming guest experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and relevant compliance standards.
• Confident problem-solving skills and a calm, professional approach under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
