Job Summary

Next Level Staffing is seeking experienced baristas for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Atlanta. Candidates must have hands-on experience preparing coffee and specialty beverages, operating espresso equipment, and providing friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and blended beverages.
• Pull espresso shots, steam and texture milk, and create latte art.
• Brew drip and pour-over coffee according to established recipes.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and brewing equipment.
• Greet customers, take orders, and offer menu recommendations.
• Accurately communicate dietary restrictions and beverage customizations.
• Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches, soups, and pastries.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions.
• Restock coffee beans, syrups, cups, lids, and other supplies.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, countertops, workspaces, and café seating areas.
• Assist with opening, closing, and inventory duties.
• Follow food safety procedures and assigned dress code, uniform, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience is required.
• Experience operating coffee and espresso equipment is required.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to read and communicate in English and follow beverage recipes.
• Willingness to complete food handling certification as required.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Physical Requirements

This position involves extended standing and walking, as well as lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling during daily duties.
