We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. This role is essential for creating high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, a knack for customer interactions, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages that meet high-quality standards.
- Understand and implement different brewing methods, ingredients, and equipment to prepare tea and coffee drinks, such as espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and other custom orders.
- Engage with customers, take orders, and process payments while offering friendly and efficient service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning tables, counters, and coffee machines.
- Manage inventory of products and supplies to maintain stock levels and minimize waste.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a coffee shop setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, beverage preparation, and sanitation principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide friendly customer service.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and ability to lift moderately heavy supplies.
