Bartender - Aramark Nexus - Caprock Workforce Community

Job Description

Aramark Nexus is hiring a Bartender to join our dining team at Caprock, a large-scale workforce housing community near Mobeetie, Texas.

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing friendly, professional customer service in our on-site dining facility.

This position is ideal for someone with experience as a Bartender, Bar Server, Beverage Server, or Food & Beverage Attendant who enjoys working with people, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and creating a welcoming experience for guests.

The Bartender will take drink orders, prepare beverages, process payments, restock supplies, and help maintain a safe and efficient bar operation while following all alcohol service, food safety, sanitation, and company standards.

Compensation

• Pay: $12.00 per hour

• Tips: Bartenders are eligible to earn tips

• Free Private Housing: Single-occupancy accommodations available on-site for eligible employees

• Free Meals: Three meals per day

• Benefits available to eligible employees in accordance with Aramark benefit plans

Job Responsibilities

-    Greets guests and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
-    Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
-    May include providing servers drinks from the service well
-    Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption
-    Adheres to cash handling policies
-    Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
-    Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
-    Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests' needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
-    Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
-    Ensures security of company assets

Caprock is a large-scale workforce community designed to support employees working on major projects in the Texas Panhandle.

Located near Mobeetie, Texas, Caprock brings together housing, dining, transportation, housekeeping, facilities, security, recreation, and guest services in one community.

Our dining facilities are an important part of the Caprock experience, giving employees a place to relax, enjoy a meal or beverage, and connect with others after the workday.

As a Bartender at CapRock, you will help create a welcoming and professional environment while delivering dependable service to the people who live and work within the community.

Free Room & Board

Eligible Caprock employees have the opportunity to live on-site at no cost.

Employees receive private, single-occupancy housing and three meals per day, helping reduce everyday expenses associated with housing, utilities, food, and commuting.

On-site accommodations include a private room and bathroom along with access to Caprock community amenities. Employees also have the flexibility to return home during scheduled time off.

Caprock is committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for employees. On-site housing is intended for employees only, and pets and visitors are not permitted in residential accommodations.

Qualifications

-    Previous experience as a bartender preferred 
-    Knowledge of bartending principles and recipes and current trends
-    Able to obtain all Aramark and state/local required alcohol service certifications
-    Displays phenomenal hospitality, friendliness, and comprehensive beverage knowledge.
-    Demonstrates organizational & multi-tasking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail 
-    Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lb
-    Enjoys working in a fast-paced fun work environment
-    Ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
