Emish Restaurant is a Ukrainian and European restaurant located in Federal Way, WA. We are looking for a friendly, professional, and experienced Bartender to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests.The ideal candidate has previous bartending experience, strong customer service skills, good knowledge of beverages and cocktails, and the ability to work efficiently and professionally in a busy restaurant environment.What You'll DoGreet guests and provide friendly, professional service at the bar and restaurantPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and restaurant standardsPrepare cocktails, beer, wine, and other beveragesTake accurate beverage and food ordersEnter orders correctly into the POS systemExplain beverage options and make recommendations to guestsProvide excellent and attentive customer serviceMonitor guest needs throughout their visitVerify identification and ensure compliance with Washington State alcohol lawsRefuse alcohol service when legally required or when a guest appears intoxicatedCommunicate customer orders and special requests clearly with the kitchen and restaurant staffProcess payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactionsMaintain accurate checks and follow restaurant payment proceduresKeep the bar, equipment, glassware, and service areas clean and organizedRestock beverages, bar supplies, garnishes, and other products as neededMonitor inventory and communicate low-stock items to managementFollow proper storage and handling procedures for beverages and suppliesMinimize waste and maintain appropriate portion controlFollow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standardsAssist servers and other restaurant staff when neededComplete opening and closing bar dutiesMaintain a professional, respectful, and positive work environmentWork Schedule: Full-time or part-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview.
