Job Title: Bartender

Department: Food and Beverage

Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager

We are seeking a skilled and energetic bartender to join our team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will craft quality beverages, provide attentive service, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
  • Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests at the bar and in the dining area as needed.
  • Take drink and food orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and service team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout the shift.
  • Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Follow all applicable food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
  • Handle payments accurately and process transactions according to company procedures.
  • Support team members during peak service periods and contribute to smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology basics, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that may require lifting, carrying, and frequent movement.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or flexible shifts as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Experience with high-volume service and guest recovery techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktail presentation.
  • Ability to stay composed and professional during busy service periods.
