We are seeking a personable, attentive, and service-oriented professional to create a welcoming bar experience for guests. In this role, you will prepare and serve beverages, prepare and serve food, engage with guests, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and help ensure smooth, efficient service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys hospitality, works well under pressure, and brings a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest requests
- Provide friendly, professional, and timely service to guests
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age in accordance with applicable laws and policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service stations, and related equipment
- Handle cash, credit card, and point-of-sale transactions accurately
- Monitor guest needs and support a safe, enjoyable environment
- Restock supplies, glassware, garnishes, and bar inventory as needed
- Follow responsible service practices and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members, servers, and management to support smooth operations
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a beverage service or hospitality role preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation techniques
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and efficient in a busy environment
- Comfortable handling payments and basic math accurately
- Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items typical of bar operations
