Job Summary
As a Cashier/Bartender, you will be responsible for taking guest orders, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring every guest receives friendly and efficient service. Experience is a plus, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are most important.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and take food and beverage orders
- Operate the cash register and process payments accurately
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, and select cocktails
- Make beverage recommendations and provide excellent customer service
- Verify legal drinking age and follow all state and federal alcohol service laws
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and front-of-house areas
- Restock bar supplies, ingredients, and service items as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and mopping
- Ensure smooth and accurate handoff of guest orders
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, bartending, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and bar operations is a plus
- Mixology or hospitality certifications are welcomed but not required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong time management and teamwork abilities
- Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcoholic beverages
Schedule
- Full-time and Part-time positions available
- Night shift availability required
- Day shift availability preferred
