Bartenders & Barbacks

Bartenders and Barbacks at Craig’s Nashville are an important part of providing a welcoming, efficient, and consistent bar experience. These roles require attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Bartenders should have a strong knowledge of classic cocktails and proper bar technique, while Barbacks are responsible for keeping the bar stocked, organized, and running smoothly throughout service. Both roles work closely with the full service team to provide great hospitality to every guest.

 Key Responsibilities

• Craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, efficiency, and refined technique.
• Memorize and execute all house cocktails and classic builds to the Craig’s standard.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepped bar throughout service.
• Engage with guests in a thoughtful, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Support fellow team members with awareness, kindness, and initiative.
• Fulfill all opening, closing, and sidework duties with care and consistency.

 Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years bartending experience in high-volume, upscale or fine dining environments.
• Strong foundation in classic cocktail techniques and product knowledge.
• Comfort and composure in fast-paced, high-pressure service settings.
• Excellent communication and a team-first approach to problem solving.
• Reliable, respectful, detail-oriented, and consistently guest-focused.

 Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely.
• Evenings, weekends, and holiday availability required.
• Work involves direct guest interaction, bar setup, cleaning, and extended service periods.
