    BAS Controls Tech III (Building Intelligence Specialist) – Denver, CO – $50–$65/hr + Company Vehicle

    A well-established commercial HVAC, building automation, and energy solutions provider is seeking an experienced Controls Building Intelligence Specialist to support their expanding team in the Denver area. This senior-level position is ideal for a BAS expert with significant experience programming and commissioning Niagara systems, integrating older or proprietary platforms, and guiding field technicians.     • Location: Denver, CO
    • Pay: $50.00 – $65.00/hr
    • Bonus: Not applicable
    • Experience: 8+ years, Niagara Certification required

    Responsibilities:

    • Program, test, and commission BAS systems in alignment with project scope and specifications.
    • Lead integration efforts to migrate legacy control systems into modern BAS platforms.
    • Diagnose and resolve issues at the controller, network, and integration layers.
    • Calibrate sensors, actuators, and devices for optimal system operation.
    • Oversee the technical execution of BAS projects to ensure quality and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with installation teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
    • Utilize building analytics tools to enhance performance and reduce energy usage.
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians.
    • Perform advanced programming, commissioning, and integration using Tridium Niagara.

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Experienced BAS controls professional with 8+ years in programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
    • Niagara Certified with proven hands-on experience in Niagara environments.
    • Strong foundation in legacy system integration and building analytics practices.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience mentoring junior personnel.
    • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
