    BAS Controls Technician – Madison, WI

    $70,000 – $85,000 + EOY Bonus + Excellent Benefits

    A reputable and fast-growing Building Automation Systems (BAS) provider is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Technician to join their Madison-based operations. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys field work, collaborative problem-solving, and hands-on commissioning of automation and HVAC control systems.

    The company maintains a strong presence across Wisconsin and is known for its exceptional culture, employee development, and high-profile projects—including large-scale work with major clients such as Epic Systems.

    Position Details:

    • Title: BAS Controls Technician
    • Location: Madison, WI (local service territory)
    • Status: Full-Time | Overtime Eligible
    • Travel: Very limited | No overnight travel

    Ideal Candidate:

    • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a BAS/Controls Technician or similar role
    • Familiar with BAS platforms such as Distech, Allerton, LynxSpring, KMC, or Phoenix Controls
    • Tridium N4 certification is a plus, but not mandatory
    • Skilled in commissioning, point-to-point testing, and system verification
    • Experience modifying, rewriting, and optimizing control sequences
    • Strong troubleshooting ability with HVAC control systems
    • Clear communicator with clients, general contractors, and field teams
    • Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, start up, and commission BAS hardware and software systems
    • Diagnose and resolve issues during service calls and project execution
    • Update, adjust, and optimize BAS programming as required
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
    • Ensure compliance with company commissioning procedures and quality standards
    • Provide regular communication and updates to building owners and contractors

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
    • Bonus: Annual end-of-year performance bonus
