    BAS Controls Technician – Miami, FL – $25–$40/hour

This role supports installations, service, commissioning, and troubleshooting across commercial and mission-critical facilities.     Position Details

    • Title: BAS Controls Technician
    • Location: Miami, Florida
    • Hiring: Mid-level and Senior-level Technicians
    • Compensation: $25.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE)
    • Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (varies by region/role)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, terminate, and calibrate BAS field devices, sensors, controllers, and control panels
    • Perform point-to-point verification, diagnostics, and functional testing
    • Support system integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols
    • Work closely with project managers and programmers to support commissioning activities
    • Deliver professional on-site service and technical assistance to customers
    • Document completed work, system updates, and testing results

    Ideal Candidate

    • Experience as a BAS Technician, Controls Installer, or HVAC Controls Specialist
    • Hands-on skills in DDC hardware, low-voltage wiring, and device commissioning
    • Working knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, VAVs, RTUs, chillers, boilers)
    • Familiarity with BAS protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
    • Strong troubleshooting abilities and effective communication skills
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally
