installations, service, commissioning, and troubleshooting across commercial and mission-critical facilities.

Position Details
Title: BAS Controls Technician
Location: Miami, Florida
Hiring: Mid-level and Senior-level Technicians
Compensation: $25.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE)
Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (varies by region/role)
Key Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and calibrate BAS field devices, sensors, controllers, and control panels
Perform point-to-point verification, diagnostics, and functional testing
Support system integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols
Work closely with project managers and programmers to support commissioning activities
Deliver professional on-site service and technical assistance to customers
Document completed work, system updates, and testing results
Ideal Candidate
Experience as a BAS Technician, Controls Installer, or HVAC Controls Specialist
Hands-on skills in DDC hardware, low-voltage wiring, and device commissioning
Working knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, VAVs, RTUs, chillers, boilers)
Familiarity with BAS protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
Strong troubleshooting abilities and effective communication skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally
