ANTICIPATED OPENING - January 2027 Basic Skills Instruction (BSI) Teacher - Math/ELA Thomas Jefferson School - Grades 4-8 QUALIFICATIONS Valid New Jersey Elementary School Teacher K -6 certification or other appropriate New Jersey instructional certification authorizing the assignment required Preferred - Additional certification in Mathematics and/or English Language Arts or Middle School Subject Matter Specialization in Mathematics and/or English Language Arts/Literacy Preferred - New Jersey Teacher of Supplemental Instruction in Reading and Mathematics (Grades K -8) certification preferred Preferred - Experience in Basic Skills Instruction, mathematics and/or ELA intervention, and/or small -group academic support Anticipated opening for the 2026 -2027 school year The successful candidate will possess: • Strong knowledge of elementary mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA) instruction, particularly in Grades 4-8 • Ability to plan and deliver targeted, differentiated mathematics and ELA interventions through small -group, push -in, and/or pull -out models • Skill in using mathematics and ELA assessment data to identify needs, design interventions, and monitor student progress • Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, administrators, and families • Familiarity with New Jersey Student Learning Standards in mathematics and ELA and evidence -based instructional practices • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Salary: Per negotiated local RBEA agreement Please send letter of interest, resume, copy of certification and three letters of recommendation to: Dr. Anthony Grieco Superintendent of Schools EMAIL TO: employment@rockboro.org VACANCY
