This job requisition is for Gordon Food Service Warehouse employees to indicate their interest in future length of service positions at Gordon Food Service.

Length of Service positions will be posted by 8 AM on the first Monday of each month and close 10 days later on Wednesday at Midnight. Employees who apply during the 10 day time period will be considered for roles that open the Monday after the posting closes. Employees will need to re-apply each month to be considered for length of service positions. Employees who express interest for these positions will be considered based on their length of service, as long as the following conditions have been met:

• Currently works in the warehouse function in any US Distribution Center.
• No active written disciplinary actions OR at least six months have passed since the date of the last written disciplinary action/warning. Exceptions to this may be made if the hiring manager, current manager, and Human Resources Business Partner approve. If an employee receives a documented disciplinary action between the time they accept the offer and start in their new role, they will no longer be eligible to transfer.
• Ability to report to work upon the start date identified.
• Have a minimum of six months of continuous service in their current role to change shifts within the same job code (Example Job Code 240 2nd shift can move to Job Code 240 on 1st shift)
• Must have a minimum of twelve months of continuous service in their current role when changing job codes (Example: Job Code 240 2nd shift move to Job Code 270 2nd shift).
