Battery Test Lab Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Battery Test Lab Technician to support hands-on testing and evaluation activities within a battery testing laboratory. This position involves performing process-driven testing work, including battery tear-downs, measurements, weighing components, recording observations, and accurately documenting test results.


+ Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

+ Pay: $23.00-$25.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications


The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable in a laboratory or controlled environment, and can consistently follow established procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Duties:


+ Perform hands-on battery tear-down and testing activities following established procedures.

+ Record test results, measurements, weights, and visual observations accurately.

+ Inspect components and document findings throughout the testing process.

+ Organize samples, materials, equipment, and test documentation.

+ Follow standardized processes and maintain consistency during repetitive testing activities.

+ Maintain accurate and complete records of testing and observations.

+ Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with lab procedures.

+ Follow all applicable safety requirements and testing protocols.

+ Communicate unusual findings, discrepancies, or testing concerns to the appropriate team member.

Position Requirements:


+ Previous experience working in a laboratory, testing, manufacturing, quality, technical, or similar hands-on environment preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record data.

+ Comfortable performing repetitive, process-oriented work.

+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written procedures.

+ Comfortable using basic measurement tools and recording weights and observations.

+ Ability to work independently while following established processes and safety requirements.

+ Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

+ Dependable and able to maintain a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.
